App QR Code FAQ

Can one QR code serve both iPhone and Android?

A single store link points to one store. For both platforms you can print two codes, or use a smart link from a service you control and create a website QR code from it.

Which links are accepted?

App Store and Google Play links: apps.apple.com, itunes.apple.com, apple.co and play.google.com. Other addresses are rejected so the code can only lead to a store listing.

Do I need to be the app owner?

No. Any public store link works, but make sure you have the right to promote the app.

Does this QR code expire, and can I track scans?

No expiry. Qrenzo creates static QR codes: your link or text is encoded directly in the code, so it keeps working for as long as the destination does. Because nothing passes through our servers, there is no scan tracking or subscription.
