Menu QR Code FAQ

Should I link a PDF or a web page?

Either works. A PDF is quick to set up. A web page is easier to read on phones and easier to update. Qrenzo supports both: use this page for a PDF or the Website QR code for a page.

Where can I host my menu PDF?

On your own website, or any service that gives a public HTTPS link, such as a cloud drive with “anyone with the link” sharing. Qrenzo does not store files.

Can I update the menu without reprinting?

Yes, if you replace the file or page at the same link. The QR code only contains the link, so it keeps pointing to the latest version.

Does this QR code expire, and can I track scans?

No expiry. Qrenzo creates static QR codes: your link or text is encoded directly in the code, so it keeps working for as long as the destination does. Because nothing passes through our servers, there is no scan tracking or subscription.
