Tips for a QR code that scans first time

Website QR Code FAQ

Does this QR code expire, and can I track scans?

No expiry. Qrenzo creates static QR codes: your link or text is encoded directly in the code, so it keeps working for as long as the destination does. Because nothing passes through our servers, there is no scan tracking or subscription.

Can I change the website after printing?

Not by editing the code. A static QR code always opens the address it was created with. If you may need to change destinations, point it to a page on your own site that you can update, or redirect at your end.

Does the website need to use HTTPS?

HTTPS is strongly recommended, because browsers warn visitors about unsecured pages. Qrenzo accepts both, and adds https:// when you leave the scheme off.

How big should the printed QR code be?

Our flyer designs use a QR code of roughly 3 inches or more, which scans well from a distance. For your own materials, a minimum of about 2 cm (0.8 in) is a common guideline for close-range scanning.
