Tips for a QR code that scans first time
- Always include the country code. Qrenzo ignores spaces, dashes and the + sign when it builds the link.
- Keep the pre-filled message short and friendly.
- Customers need WhatsApp installed to start the chat.
- Test the code with your own phone before printing.
WhatsApp QR Code FAQ
What link does the QR code contain?
A standard wa.me link in the form https://wa.me/PHONE?text=MESSAGE. It opens WhatsApp with a chat to your number and the message ready to send.
Is my phone number stored anywhere?
No. Qrenzo runs in your browser. The number is only used to build the QR code and flyer on your device and is not uploaded.
Does it work with WhatsApp Business?
Yes. A wa.me link opens a chat with any WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business number.
Does this QR code expire, and can I track scans?
No expiry. Qrenzo creates static QR codes: your link or text is encoded directly in the code, so it keeps working for as long as the destination does. Because nothing passes through our servers, there is no scan tracking or subscription.
