How to Find Your Google Review Link

By Qrenzo · 4 min read ·

The review link is the address that opens the “Write a review” form for your business. You paste it into a QR code generator, a text message or an email so customers can leave a review in a couple of taps.

The standard way (on a computer)

  1. Sign in to the Google account that manages your Business Profile.
  2. Open your Business Profile.
  3. Choose Read reviews, then Get more reviews.
  4. Select Copy to copy your review link.

Google’s menu wording can change over time, so if a button has moved, look for the “Get more reviews” or “Ask for reviews” option in your profile.

Why the short link is best for QR codes

The link Google gives you is short. Short links produce simple QR codes with large dots, which scan faster and from further away. Long links produce dense codes that are harder to read, especially on small prints.

What if you only have a Google Maps link?

A Maps link opens your business listing rather than the review form. It still works in a QR code, but customers have to find the review button themselves. Get the proper review link whenever you can. The Google review QR code generator warns you when you paste a Maps link.

Test before you print

  • Open the link in a private browser window while signed out to see what customers see.
  • Remember that customers need a Google account to leave a review.
  • Scan your printed flyer with two phones. See how to test a QR code before printing.

Other places to use your review link

  • In a follow-up text message or email after a visit or a job.
  • In your email signature, with a short line inviting honest feedback.
  • On your website, near your contact details.
  • On a QR code flyer at the counter, on receipts or in packaging.

Troubleshooting

If you cannot find the option, make sure you are signed in to the account that manages the profile and that the business is verified. If the link opens your listing instead of the review form, you probably copied a Maps address. Go back to your profile and copy the review link again.
