How to Make a QR Code for Google Reviews
By Qrenzo · 5 min read ·
A QR code for Google reviews takes customers straight to your review form, so leaving a review takes seconds. Here is how to make one.
Step 1: Get your Google review link
On a computer, open your Google Business Profile, choose Read reviews, then Get more reviews, and copy the link. See how to find your Google review link for more help.
Step 2: Create the QR code flyer
- Open the Google review QR code generator.
- Paste your review link.
- Add your business name and logo if you like, and choose a design.
- Download the flyer as a PDF, PNG or JPG.
Step 3: Print it
Print at 100% size on matte paper. A flyer at the counter, on tables or at reception works well. Add the code to receipts or cards too.
Step 4: Ask every customer
Point to the flyer and invite honest feedback. Ask everyone, not just happy customers, and never offer rewards for reviews. Google prohibits incentivized reviews.
Step 5: Reply to reviews
Thank people and respond calmly to criticism. See how to respond to Google reviews.
Does the customer need a Google account?
Yes. Customers need to be signed in to a Google account to leave a review, so some people may need to sign in first.
Where to put your review QR code
- At the counter or reception, in a small frame.
- On tables and menus in restaurants and cafes.
- On receipts, invoices and packaging inserts.
- On cards you hand over after a job or appointment.
If the code does not work
Open the link you pasted in a private browser window to see what customers see. If it opens your listing instead of the review form, copy the Get more reviews link again from your Business Profile. Also check the printed size and glare. See QR code not scanning? 7 fixes.
